There are nearly about 500 millions of Indian workforce stop looking for jobs, reported by the Centre of Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). Report of March 2022 shows the shrunk of $3.8 million to 428 million. The overall labour's participation dropped from 46% to 40% during 2017 to 2022.
