Bangladesh offers use CHITTAGONG port to India

Visit of Dr. S. Jaishankar 

In recent days when Dr. S. Jaishankar visited Bangladesh. "The PM Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh  has given an offer to India for using the Chittagong port to increase the connectivity  level with the Northeastern part of India in future",‌ the statement was surprised for Dr. S. Jaishankar as it was a good offer providing by Bangladesh itself. 

This offer will benefit Bangladesh in different levels:-

1. In future India is going to be more   dependent on Mayanmar to connect Northeast India.
2. In future India is going to become a manufacturing power house and some Indian companies want to build some manufacturing sparepart house in Bangladesh. This will provide employment to Bangladesh.
3. India can help Bangladesh in removing sanctions over Bangladesh made by the USA.
4. Bangladesh will charge for the cargos for use of port. 

In last Dr. S Jaishankar commented nothing on the offers. Said " we will see ".
